The 2011 DMC World Champion...DJ Vajra!

Though it was a big year for the DJs from Japan, 2011 U.S.A. Champion DJ Vajra, took it all at the renowned DMC World Finals last week in London battling it out against 30 other DJ Turntablists from across the globe. 2nd place went to DJ Izoh of Japan and third to DJ Co-Ma also from Japan. A one of a kind custom gold Rane 68 mixer was the featured grand prize.

DMC, distinguished worldwide as "the" premier DJ contest since the mid 80's, has officially progressed the 27 year running event into the digital DJ era with this year marking the first time contestants were allowed to use Digital Vinyl Systems (DVS) such as Serato Scratch Live and Traktor Scratch.
